I like notepad++
unless you mean on mobile... I use Jota+ on my Android phone.

For taking notes I just use Onenote. It’s one of the most comprehensive note-taking programs I’ve seen, especially with a wacom touchscreen

I just use a paper and pencil.
I almost always carry a Field Notes notebook and a pencil . I use the Bullet Journal system (sort of) to keep the notebook organized. I typically fill up a notebook every three months.

Perfectly fine. I’d use notebooks but my job has me moving around all of the time all over a school campus and I’d lose it.
